This installation combines aspects of formal and structural filmmaking to present the handmade process as an act of artistic creation which connects the materiality of handmade cinema with the embodied experience of spectatorship. INDEX achieves this by unifying two theoretical perspectives of experimental filmmaking which, working in concert, divulge both the process of production as well as comment on the agency and method of viewing.
